The Dunes - Couples *Beachfront*

Excellent stay at Lake Tyers Positive: A beautiful property with great views and facilities. Highly recommended Negative: Nothing

Positive: Great facilities, comfort, design. Nice base for touring E.Gippsland. Good local walks. Quiet. Negative: Overlooked by other beachfront properties with views obstructed. But none of other nearby houses were occupied when we stayed, so privacy no problem. Also not a place to stay for swimming on the nearby beach, which is very wild and a long way down the dunes.

Delightful Dunes stay! Positive: Incredible views from the bedroom and lounge area. Beautiful modern layout. Love the open plan design, the kitchen is great, the fire place magical. Great furnishings and comfortable bed. 10 out of 10. Negative: Nothing

Nice place, helpful host. Positive: Lake Tyers is a pretty spot, and the property has a view of the sea and is close enough to hear the sound of the surf. Inside, the house is spacious and light, and would accommodate a family or two couples easily. The kitchen has everything one would need, with modern appliances. The e-mail with lockbox instructions had gone astray but the host responds quickly to communications so it was all sorted out without any problem or delay. On arrival we found that the host had left a bottle of wine and a few things to eat which was a generous touch. And the heater had been left on for us which was much appreciated, as it was during winter. Also the wood stove was much appreciated. The internet is Starlink so the speed is pretty decent. Negative: No real criticisms. The little oil-filled heater in the bedroom was perhaps a bit underpowered for August, but there was a warm spare blanket in the wardrobe.

Perfect in every way Positive: A beautiful well equipped and spacious apartment, with stunning sea views and a cosy log fire for winter evenings.
